Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Pavillion

The Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Pavillion, located in the Town of Mt. Pleasant's Memorial Waterfront Park, is a permanent structure dedicated to showcasing the history, culture and art of sweetgrass basketmaking.

The Pavillion not only houses an exhibit, but also serves as a venue in which local basketmakers can demonstrate their craft for locals and visitors alike. The Pavillion further serves as flex-space to accomodate local cultural events, including the annual Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Festival.
