Rivers, Rails and Crossroads Discovery Center

Representing Aiken, Bamberg, Barnwell, and Orangeburg counties, this museum serves as a stopping point for visitors along the Heritage Corridor and Highway 78, this Discovery Center contains an interpretive center, kids area, gift and coffee shop and full visitor services area. The center has exhibits covering the colonial settlement of the region, Revolutionary War, Civil War and is equipped with a fully trained staff to assist with any travel needs, a gift shop, and museum tours.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the local history and ready to help you discover the present in the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor, from lodging and eating to recreation and family fun spots. Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you soon.
