SC National Heritage Corridor

South Carolina Botanical Garden and Discovery Center

The South Carolina Botanical Garden is a place "where nature and culture meet." Beyond offering 295 acres of scenic trails and gardens, the SCBG is also home to local artists, musicians and internationally known sculptors. The Fran Hanson Discovery Center’s Fuller Gallery features a permanent collection of paintings by SC native Elizabeth Belser Fuller. The Featured Artist Gallery, also in the Discovery Center, showcases a rotating exhibit by selected SC artisans. The SCBG also houses a world-renowned nature-based sculpture collection. These ephemeral, site-specific, organic pieces can be found throughout the garden.
