Salkehatchie Stew-Barnwell Boil

Salkehatchie Stew presents Barnwell County’s “Boil” - a pot-full of storytelling and music with a mixture of talented professional and amateur artists with a taste of local flair. Friday evening will offer a pinch of music and a smidgen of stories, followed by a helping of vignettes from the Stew’s own play “Dig Deeper”, presented at the Circle Theatre in Barnwell. Saturday will be sprinkled with local and regional storytellers, artists, local cuisine, an hour of tall tales followed by our main course, the incredible Sheila Adams, award winning musician and storyteller of the Appalachian Mountain Tradition.

Saturday June 13-Edisto Research Center64 Research Rd, Blackville, SC starting at 9:00 am
2-day pass $15.00, otherwise $7.00-$10.00 per event
