June 19 – “Songwriter Showcase” (12:00 – 3:00) Hosted by singer/songwriter Rachel Van Slyke and showcasing some really talented “cutting edge” regional songwriters.
Additional music from local artists, as well as crafts such as gourd art, flintknapping, bowl making, spinning, blacksmithing, and more. Fresh ground cornmeal, grits, and graham flour from the stones of the 1845 Hagood Mill will be available. The Hagood cabin, the Murphy-Hollingsworth cabin, the moonshine still, and the functional 1890 cotton gin await your visit. Free Admission.
