150th Hunting Island Anniversary Celebration

Time: Friday evening to Sunday afternoon
A weekend full of celebratory events for the 150th Anniversary of our iconic Lighthouse at Hunting Island State Park, SC. It begins with an Art Gallery opening in Beaufort, SC, Friday evening; followed by a kayak Paddlefest and Sand Sculpture contest with beach music at the Park Saturday. Then, Saturday evening, a student art exhibition and historical play will be presented at the Performing Arts Center in Beaufort, SC. Sunday is the big Event at the Park; a 5K Run/Walk race to highlight out new trails, more Kayaking demonstrations, Coast Guard flyover, Non-profit booth displays, an Oyster Roast, and visiting dignitaries and commemorative presentations.
Park admission is free for the events.
Most Events are Free; the Play, Races, and Oyster Roast have fees.
